About Us

Clem Efevawere Memorial Nursery & Primary School, AND Clem Efevawere Memorial Secondary School, Oleh are own and run by Clem Efevawere-Onowotu Foundation. The foundation stone of the school was laid on the 17th January 2022 by Clem Efevawere – Onowotu Snr. The application for the schools’ licences was processed, and academics started on the 30th September 2024, with two learners: one learner in the nursery & primary school and the other in the secondary school. Holiday free tutorials started on Wednesday, 21st August 2024, as a way of giving back to the community, sponsored by Clem Efevawere-Onowotu Foundation. Every August, free tutorials are scheduled for all classes for both interested learners and the community at large. Today, the population of both schools stands at a hundred learners, and the numbers are expected to increase as we look into the future with the audacity of hope.

The schools are formally registered and approved by the Delta State Government of Nigeria. Clem Efevawere Memorial Schools is established in memory of Clem Efeme Oreva Efevawere Jnr of blessed memory [28/10/2017 – 31/07/2021].

The school motto is [Latin] Scientia Sit Potentia [English] Let Knowledge Be Power. There are seven inter-house sports Houses in the schools namely: Bernard Onowotu House – white colour, Clementine House – purple colour, Clinton Egbe House – red colour, Gideon Jarikre House – orange colour, Nefkom Aluminium House – royal blue colour, Joe Idudu House – navy blue colour, and Ugbodume House – yellow colour.

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today. Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere. The school anthem is culled from Psalm 90. The school logo is the official crest featuring a shield with an open book, a star, and a lit lamp. The emblem reflects the institutions educational mission and its commitment to fostering learning and growth among learners.

Our School Anthem

O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our school:

Under the shadow of Thy  throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
And our defence is sure.

Before the hills in order stood,
Or school received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
To endless years the same.

O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come
Be Thou our guide while life shall last,
And our school.

(Culled from Psalm 90)

Our Values

  • reflect the fundamental principles embedded in respect, creativity, inclusivity, resilience, punctuality, organisation, and time management that dictate how the school community interacts.

  • Our learners are encouraged to join any of our extracurricular activities among the following: press club, scripture union, science club, cultural & dancing club, and literary, dramatic, and debating society. Extracurricular activities help shape the child’s educational experience.

  • We aim to offer comprehensive support to our learners at every stage of their educational journey. Encouraging curiosity, kindness, and bravery is a central part of our approach. We express our gratitude to parents for placing their trust in us. Our dedicated efforts are directed towards ensuring that each child has the opportunity to thrive.

  • To foster an environment that continually motivates and supports our educators, it is crucial to focus on enhancing their well-being and development. By investing in our remarkable team of teachers and staff, we can inspire one another to achieve even greater success. We appreciate the hard work and commitment displayed by each individual, which forms the foundation for our collective progress.
